Durring the 12th century, Burnerdell or 'Ba-Na-Tanima' ((meaning Burner of the Valley) they often shortened his name to simply 'Burn' or 'Yakedo')) was the only member of Shino Clan of whom did not Stone Sleep. Durring these hours of rest, Yakedo was given the job of protecting the clan while they slept, keeping their Temple safe durring the Chaos of Feudal Japan. Being a foreigner in these lands, Yakedo looked much different the the more beastial dragon and lion gargoyles which were more prevelant in the area. Never giving up his heritage, made himself a Phoenix Clan emblem to wear rather then adopting the Shino's.
